La firma de automóviles Hyundai presentó su nuevo Sonata Hybrid, segunda generación, donde a simple vista se destaca un nuevo diseño delantero y trasero con un estilo moderno, totalmente diferente a otros modelos Sonata. Además de agregar una nueva figura, este diseño mejora la aerodinámica del vehículo agregando una avanzada tecnología y eficiencia. El ahorro de combustible combinado en el modelo SE presenta una mejora de un 10 por ciento en comparación con el modelo anterior.

La firma automovilística coreana Hyundai presentó su primer vehículo híbrido, el Sonata Plug-in Hybrid Eletric Vehicle (PHVE), modelo 2016 con un desplazamiento de hasta 24 millas movido por electricidad y se puede recargar en un plazo de tres horas con un cargador de Nivel-Dos. El auto, desde el punto de vista de tecnología, es muy avanzado con un rango de desplazamiento totalmente eléctrico. La batería es de polímero de litio de 9.8 kWh.

The 2014 Santa Fe features a flowing interior look, designed for family functionality and comfort. From the available heated rear seats and eight-way power driver seat with four-way lumbar support, to a standard 40:20:40 split-folding rear seat back. Also for 2014, Santa Fe helps keep clothes neat and crisp on hot, humid days with the option of ventilated front seats. These seats work via fans in the seat cushion and seat back blowing a gentle stream of air through the miniature perforations in the leather. The driver’s seating position and exterior mirrors can also be set and saved using the integrated memory seat available for the 2014 model year. Special care and attention went into other interior details, such as an optional panoramic sunroof, which allows more natural light into the cabin and rear side window sunshades. The three-row Santa Fe also features an available power liftgate for added convenience.

For 2013, Hyundai Sonata Hybrid increases fuel efficiency and operate in all electric modes more often and for longer periods of time, with an advanced version of the brand’s Hybrid Blue Drive architecture. The improved architecture optimizes electric only driving with a higher output 35 kW electric motor, a more powerful 47 kW Lithium Polymer battery pack and an optimized hybrid operating strategy. These upgrades are paired with a 2.4-liter Theta II four cylinder engine that now runs on a more efficient Atkinson cycle and an enhanced transmission to generate 199 combined net horsepower.

Veloster Turbo’s unique design takes inspiration from a custom high performance sport bike. One of the most popular sport bike upgrades is to modify the exhaust. Hyundai designers have removed the Veloster’s trapezoidal center exhaust and replaced it with two larger free flowing circular pipes. These new pipes and the new intake manifold also allowed engineers to give the engine a more robust sound.
